Order Processing Time

All NON-BRIDAL orders will ship within two (2) business days from our Los Angeles, CA warehouse, regardless of which shipping carrier you select at checkout. Please keep in mind that this does not include shipping time and shipping carriers can experience delays that are out of our control. We are dedicated to shipping you products of the highest quality, while maintaining safe working conditions for all our employees and contractors. Once your order ships, an email will be sent providing tracking details for your shipment.

Domestic Shipping Information


Evening & Little White Dresses

All domestic shipments for Evening & Little White Dresses will ship UPS Ground. Please see approximate shipping times from our Los Angeles warehouse below.

UPS:

West Coast-Midwest: 1-3 business days

Midwest-East Coast: 3-5 business days

Keep in mind this is the approximate time it takes to receive your order from the date it was shipped; not the date the order was placed. Once your order ships, an email will be sent providing tracking details for your shipment.

Bridal Box & Sample Gown

Shipping Timeline: Your bridal box will be shipped within two (2) weeks of placing your order. Once your bridal box has shipped, you will receive tracking information so you are able to excitedly monitor its progress.

Shipping Method: Bridal boxes are shipped out of our Los Angeles warehouse via UPS 2nd Day Air. We ship our samples with signature required and the deliveries are made during working hours. Once the package has shipped, we are unable to change the delivery address and we will not extend the designated dates you have with the sample due to late deliveries of the package. Please make sure that someone will be available to sign for the package at the street address listed on your order. For international shipments, gowns are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited (usually 3-5 shipping days) and round trip shipping costs can be up to $350.00. There may be custom/tariff fees for international shipments, which Katie May is NOT responsible for and will not reimburse to the customer. Customer should research potential tariffs, duties, customs, taxes, etc. prior to purchasing.

Return Shipment: All bridal boxes must be return shipped within three (3) days of delivery. A UPS returns label for the bridal box will be included in each shipment, and must be used to ensure the insurance of the shipment and the timelines of the bridal box are adhered to. If a customer does not use the returns label and if the shipment is lost, the customer will be responsible for the full price of the gown.

Who We Ship To: We are currently shipping our bridal boxes throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. If you would like a bridal box sent to a country not listed, please contact our team for further assistance.

Lost Shipments: If a bridal box shipment is lost with UPS, we will file the claim and issue a refund for the bridal box and for the shipment charges once the claim has been finalized with UPS.

Shipping Costs: The customer is fully responsible for ALL freight charges and additional freight fees as they may apply.

Final Gown

Shipping Method: Bridal gowns are shipped out of our Los Angeles warehouse via UPS "Ground" with the "signature-required" option. If expedited freight is needed, please contact our team for accommodations. Please note that certain locations do not allow for "Ground" service and Katie May will confirm with customer the appropriate freight service selection. For international shipments, gowns are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited (usually 3-5 shipping days). There may be custom/tariff fees for international shipments, which Katie May is NOT responsible for and will not reimburse to the customer. Customer should research potential tariffs, duties, customs, taxes, etc. prior to purchasing.

International Shipping Information

We ship to all countries internationally with the shipping courier options of UPS & DHL. International customers may be required to pay duties and taxes on their order. Please contact your local customs office for up-to-date information on fees that may be applied to your order. Katie May is not responsible for any taxes and/or duties that customs require on your order. Any returned or rejected packages due to unpaid duties / taxes may not be eligible for a refund.

For International customers, please follow the below instructions:

Email hello@katiemay.com to start the returns process. Please include your order number, the style/s you want to return, and the email addresses associated with the order. You must notify Katie May via email within thirty (30) days of receipt. Any requests made after thirty (30) days of receipt will be denied.
Once your return request is approved, we will provide you an address to return ship to.

Pack your item/s in all original packaging. Please write down the order number/s on a sheet of paper and include in the package.
Prior to shipping, please note the tracking number on the label, as this number will allow you to track the progress of your return to Katie May.
Please return ship to the address provided.

Return Policy for Sale Items

All sale items are final sale - no returns, exchanges or refunds.

Return Policy for Veils

For hygienic reasons, all veils are non-returnable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Return Policy for Bridal

Bridal Box & Sample Gown

Refund Terms: After sample gown and bridal box are returned in satisfactory condition, if customer decides not to proceed with ordering the bridal gown, Katie May will refund the initial deposit less the sample shipping costs. Please allow up to seven (7) business days for the credit card refund to be processed and visible on your bank statement.

Final Gown

Return Policy: Once the bridal contract has been signed and the 50% deposit placed, there are absolutely no refunds allowed. If a customer has decided to not move forward after the contract has been signed and deposit processed, but prior to the shipment of the bridal gown, the remaining balance will not be charged, the order will be forfeited and become property of Katie May, and the deposit will not be refunded.

Return Policy for Evening & Little White Dresses

All full-price Evening & Little White Dresses are returnable within thirty (30) days of receipt. Items must NOT be worn, altered or washed. If the return ribbon is tampered with, we will NOT accept the return. Please be careful of makeup, deodorant, self-tanner and animal hair rubbing off onto the garment. Items returned NOT matching the original condition item was sent and/or damaged will NOT qualify for a refund and will be returned back to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the customer and are NON-refundable. For domestic shipments, we provide a return label. Return shipping costs will be deducted from your return. Packages that arrive C.O.D. may be denied or the C.O.D. amount will be deducted from your return.

Refunds

After your return package is delivered back to our office, please allow seven (7) business days to be processed through our quality control. Once your return is processed and your refund is issued, you will receive a confirmation refund email. Please note your refund may take several business days to appear in your account depending on your financial institution.

Exchanges

In order to service you most effectively, we do not offer exchanges. Instead, you must return your original order and place another order securing the style/color/size you would like to purchase.

Processing Time

Please allow seven (7) business days from when your exchange is delivered to our warehouse to process. Once your exchange is processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
