How long will it take to make my gown?
Once the bridal contract has been finalized and the deposit payment processed, we are able to ship out your wedding gown within ten (10) weeks. We proudly make all our gowns in our Los Angeles design studio, which ensures timely production and #aMAYzing quality. Thanks for supporting #USmade companies like ours.
Do you offer rushes?
We offer two (2) week rushes for a flat fee of $375.00.
Do you make custom gowns?
Katie May offers custom gowns for a select few each year. Please inquire with our team for further information.
Do you offer customizations?
We are unable to offer customizations changing the aesthetic of the gown (i.e., adding a slit, changing the neckline, etc.).
What undergarments can I wear?
We recommend the Commando "Classic Solid Tiny Thong" in the shade that closest matches your skin tone. We also recommend and sell the Nearly Me "Silicone Breast Enhancers" to give more lift, fullness, and support in your bust area.
Do you sell extra fabric?
We sell additional fabric in limited quantities. Please inquire with our team for pricing and increment information.
Where are your gowns made?
We proudly produce all bridal gowns in our Los Angeles studio. We have the most #aMAYzing team of talent here to ensure your gown is beautifully made in an ethically responsible environment.
Do you offer extended sizing?
We have the ability to make gowns in sizes both larger and smaller than what is listed on our size chart. If you have a sizing request, please email our team for further assistance.
Will I need tailoring?
Our gowns are made to order, but they are not made to measure, which means that you will need to plan for tailoring.
Am I able to return my wedding gown, veil, and/or bridal accessories?
Absolutely no refunds will be allowed after the bridal contract has been signed and payment has been processed. No returns or exchanges are allowed on any product within our bridal division.
Bridal Box Shipping:
Once I place an order for a sample gown and bridal box, how quickly will it ship?
Your bridal box will be shipped within two (2) weeks of placing your order.
We ship our samples with signature required and the deliveries are made during working hours. Once the package has shipped, we are unable to change the delivery address and we will not extend the designated dates you have with the sample due to late deliveries of the package. Please make sure that someone will be available to sign for the package at the street address listed on your order.
Once your bridal box has shipped, you will receive tracking information so you are able to excitedly monitor its progress.
How is the bridal box shipped?
Bridal boxes are shipped out of our Los Angeles warehouse via UPS "2nd Day Air" with the "signature-required" option.
For international shipments, gowns are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited (usually 3-5 shipping days) and round trip shipping costs can be up to $350.00. There may be custom/tariff fees for international shipments, which Katie May is NOT responsible for and will not reimburse to the customer. Customer should research potential tariffs, duties, customs, taxes, etc. prior to purchasing.
How do I return the bridal box to you?
All bridal boxes must be return shipped within three (3) days of delivery. A UPS returns label for the bridal box will be included in each shipment, and must be used to ensure the insurance of the shipment and the timelines of the bridal box are adhered to.
If a customer does not use the returns label and if the shipment is lost, the customer will be responsible for the full price of the gown.
What counties are you shipping the bridal box to?
We are currently shipping our bridal boxes throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. If you would like a bridal box sent to a country not listed, please contact our team for further assistance.

What happens if the bridal box is not delivered and the shipment is lost?
If a bridal box shipment is lost with UPS, we will file the claim and issue a refund for the bridal box and for the shipment charges once the claim has been finalized with UPS.
Will I be refunded for the shipping costs?
No, customer is fully responsible for ALL freight charges and additional freight fees as they may apply.
Bridal Gown Shipping:
How is my bridal gown shipped?
Bridal gowns are shipped out of our Los Angeles warehouse via UPS "Ground" with the "signature-required" option. If expedited freight is needed, please contact our team for accommodations. Please note that certain locations do not allow for "Ground" service and Katie May will confirm with customer the appropriate freight service selection.
For international shipments, gowns are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited (usually 3-5 shipping days). There may be custom/tariff fees for international shipments, which Katie May is NOT responsible for and will not reimburse to the customer. Customer should research potential tariffs, duties, customs, taxes, etc. prior to purchasing.
